The hotel is in the municipality of Vignola, in the green area set between the road that links Vignola with Modena and the Panaro River. In the past the "Cartiera" produced banknotes. After the boom in the years between the two World Wars, the business gradually started losing its economic importance and finally closed down in 1962. In 1998 the new owners started renovation work and transformed the building into a top level hotel. The hotel has 41 rooms of different types with all the facilities guests expect from a superior four star hotel. The hotel is located on the upper floors of the building and offers different types of accommodation. The aim of the hotel is to offer superior customer service and amenities, where great attention is paid to detail without neglecting warm hospitality, professional service and comfort.
